It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tamara Ann McClinton on January 30, 2022. Our family was unprepared for this unexcepted loss. She touched the lives of many who will miss her. She was born October 5, 1973, in Houston and raised in Nacogdoches. She attended Nacogdoches high school and Angelina College. Tamara was kind, caring, and empathetic. She had a unique and endearing sense of humor enjoyed by all. Tamara had a passion for childcare, was a CASA volunteer, and practiced as a massage therapist for over twenty years. She was an avid runner having completed more than thirty-five races, including eight full marathons. She is survived by her husband Gary McClinton of Nacogdoches, her daughter Whitni Bowden, her son Beau Bowden, her brother Jude and his wife Dawn Stovall, her aunt Cynthia Stovall Flowers (Mom), her uncle Ricky and aunt Sherry Stovall, her stepchildren Matthew, Rachel, and Daniel McClinton, and her extended family. She was preceded in death by her father Gerald William Stovall, her grandparents Vivian Marie and Buzz Stovall, and Lois and Jack Cooper.
