Today we are honoring Ted Wallace, born November 28, 1950 and died March 11, 2023. Ted was a devoted husband and father, a great teacher, and set a lasting impression on everyone he met. His advice and guidance will continue to carry through, in times of joys and challenges that life has to offer. He was a rock of stability and a source of strength for our entire family; the glue holding us all together.
He remains a hero in the hearts of his loved ones. Tough as nails and stubborn as a mule but his love was unmatched and there was nothing he couldn’t do. An honest and loyal man who loved his boots and his dog, enjoyed working in his shop, riding motorcycles with his sons, and being a protector for his wife and daughter. He’s thought of fondly as an ear when you needed to talk, a jokester when you needed to laugh, and candid when you needed a hard truth. If he was here with us today, he wouldn’t want us to share grief and sorrow. Instead, he would want us to share the memories we hold with him, laugh, and live like there’s no tomorrow.
A quote dedicated from his granddaughter; to honor his lasting love.
“Unable are the loved to die, for love is immortality” - E. Dickinson
He is preceded in death by his mother, Martha Molene Wallace, his father A.B. Wallace, two brothers, Herman Wallace and Steve Wallace, and his sister Shirley Free.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn Wallace, children Chasity and husband Chad Bailey, Dwayne and wife Nikki Wallace, and Eric and wife Sara Wallace, brothers; John Ed Wallace and Michael Wallace as well as 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
