Thomas Joseph Guillory 76, of Diboll, Texas went to be with the Lord Friday March 31, 2023 in Lufkin, Texas. He was born October 2, 1946 in Eunice, Louisiana to parents, Leroy and Eunice Courville Guillory.
Tommy loved deer hunting and duck hunting, fishing the bayou in Louisiana, and riding horses. Growing a garden and sharing his vegetables and watermelons to those around him completed his day. He also enjoyed creating or making whatever was on his mind at the time through his welding or woodworking skills. But, above all he loved his family; having family gatherings, cooking on the barbeque pit, cooking his Cajun sausage, boudin or gumbo and rice, however, he enjoyed making his “special recipe” of fudge.
Tommy accomplished many skills throughout his life, as a young man he worked on tugboats, managed his father’s grocery store in Port Arthur and became a very skilled mechanic.
For the next 40-50 years, Tommy became a heavy-duty equipment mechanic, truck driver/owner operator traveling all over the United States. Through these skills he became the general manager of Texas Trash in LaPorte, Texas, contractor in Jamaica building an aggregate facility for crushing materials, working in the oil fields of South Texas and owning his own contracting business, including T&D Trucking, Kerrville, Texas.
Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, Leroy Guillory and Eunice Courville Guillory, his first wife, Patricia Guillory, brother; L.J. Lee, sisters; Mary Oliver, Patricia Jacobs and Shirley Lee Francios and stepmother, Helen Guillory
Tommy will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 12 years, Donna Guillory; his daughter, Trisha Blundell and husband Shannon, stepson; Tyler Dominey, sisters; Betty LaFluer, Willie Johnson, Flo Dutton, Brenda Evans and Linda Bergeron, brother; Kirt Guillory grandchildren; LeAnn Blundell Espinoza and husband Arnold, Larry Blundell, Emily Blundell and John Paul Blundell, mother-in-law; Dixie Hunt, brother-in-law Randy Hunt, sister and brother-in-law; Fran and Mike Bazar; aunts, Rosalie Guillory, Judy Guillory; uncle, Jesse Courville and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
