On Tuesday, January 26, 2021, Tommy “Bo” Hightower (64) passed away due to complications from cancer. He was born in Houston on June 29th, 1956 to Claude & Emma Hightower. He was a backhoe operator for most of his career and retired from SWBC in 2007. He met his wife Tina Moran Hightower in 1999 and became a father to Ashley (Josh) McCage, James (Megan) Moran, and Paige (Jay) Rhoades. Tommy loved to make kids smile and his grandbabies were the light of his life. A river rat at heart he spent much of his life fishing and hunting. He enjoyed being around family and friends and hosted many fish fry's and BBQ’s over the years. In his downtime, he loved watching westerns with his best friend Wally and his dog Buddy. His siblings include Jimmy Hightower, Claudia Milligan, Mary McNatt, and Christine Holcomb. His parents, Carolyn Hightower (sister), and Ronnie Hightower (brother) preceded him in death. He leaves behind a large extended family and community of friends. A memorial service will be held at Browder’s Marina Pavilion Saturday, February 20th at 12 o’clock.
