Tony Lee Ady, Jr. 38, passed away August 20, 2023, in Dallas, Texas. He was born June 16, 1985, in Nacogdoches, Texas to Tony Lee Ady, Sr. and Sylvia Lenora Lane. Tony’s nickname was Jr. A beautiful blond-haired, blue-eyed boy full of energy and kindness. Jr.’s hero was Apal the best big sister. I don’t know when he learned to say April, but I knew she was always his special person. Jr, made a great big brother. He never used stepbrother or stepsister, it was always my brother, Christopher, my sister Christal, and my brother Anthony. He never got to know Brynnlee Layne and Maddox but I’m sure they would have loved him too. The kids are what they were called. They would build forts, play in the sand, make scary movies, and film the “Wrestling Ady Show”. But the thing Jr. Loved the most was singing and dancing. The smile he had when he was singing made his eyes look like diamonds. The biggest smile he ever had was when he brought Alissa to meet us. He just didn’t know how he made something so beautiful. He would have been a great Dad, but his illness took him away. Jr, put her needs first and let her have the life she deserves. He never stopped thinking about her or loving her. Now he is watching her from heaven.
Jr. is preceded in death by his grandfather Curtis Lane, great uncle, Dieter, and honorary grandparents, Helen and Verdell Christopher.
He is survived by his beautiful daughter, Alissa Nikole Ady of Denton, Father Tony Ady, Sr., and wife Tresa of Nacogdoches, mother, Sylvia Holst and husband Grover of Lufkin, Sister and brother-in-law, April and John Peel of Lufkin, brother and sister-in-law Christopher and Kelsy Ady of Nacogdoches, sister and brother-in-law, Christal and Casy Grimet of Nacogdoches, brother and sister-in-law, Anthony and Shelby Ady of Nacogdoches, sister, Brynnlee Holst of Nacogdoches, brothers, Lane Holst and Maddox Holst, of Nacogdoches, grandmother Rosemarie K.
